Consignor Agreement

1. Number of Items

You may bring up to 30 clothing items by appointment. No appointment or limit for handbags, accessories, or jewelry.

2. Seasonal Inventory

• Spring/Summer items accepted: February 1st – September 30th  

• Fall/Winter items accepted: October 1st – January 31st

3. Item Requirements

All clothing must be clean, wrinkle-free, hair-free, and on hangers. Clothing not meeting these requirements will not be accepted.

4. Consignment Period

The minimum consignment period is 75 days for colored tag items and 90 days for all other items. Select couture (white tag) items and jewelry may be held for up to one year at the discretion of Ally’s Closet Consignment. Items may be discounted by up to 25%, 50%, and 75% throughout the consignment term, based on inventory age. Additional discounts and in-store promotions of 20-50% may also apply.

5. Buyer Fee

A small fee is added to all items, paid by the buyer, and does not affect your payout.

6. Early Termination

Items cannot be removed before the end of the consignment period without a fee ($5 or 5% of sale price, whichever is greater). Store may offer early payout.

7. Unsold Items

After the consignment period, you have 5 days to pick up unsold items; otherwise, they may be donated/property of store.

8. Store Credit Option

Choose store credit instead of a payout and get an extra 10%.

9. Ally’s Closet is not liable for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

10. Payouts

Cash payouts over $25 are available in-store. For payouts over $75, call ahead for processing (bank transfer, Zelle, cash or check). Some electronic payments may be split due to transfer limits.

11. Commission Rates

• Clothing, shoes, accessories: you get 40% • Costume/designer jewelry under $498: 50% • Designer handbags/wallets up to $498: 50% • Items $499–$999: 60%  

• Items $1,000–$4,999: 70% • Items $5,000+: 75%
